White Gift Sunday

Every year we solicit gifts for "the least of these" and bring them to the manger. Our children perform a living nativity. The gifts are wrapped in white and brought to the front of the sanctuary. It is a very moving celebration. After worship, members of our Mission Board deliver the gifts to Stonington Human Services and the Westerly Police Department. The gifts then are distributed to families within the community to help make Christmas a bit more joyful for those experiencing hard times. Everyone is welcome to bring a child's toy or an article of clothing to church. Wrap it in white paper and tag it "Boy", "Girl" and approximate age.
