About the event
Originally organized by the Westerly Pawcatuck Clergy Association, the Community Easter Sunrise Service is celebrating its fifteenth year. We gather at the beach early on Easter morning. Our service begins at 6:30 am featuring musicians and pastors from various local church communities. The service is brief. It includes hymns, scripture readings, prayers and a short message. Over the year it has been very meaningful to the 100 plus who gather to watch the sun come up and to celebrate the resurrection. .
